The woman behind Avalon vintage. You might wonder who I am so here we go… 

 

A former restaurant owner/chef & an interior designer on the side I wanted to start something new. After having my wonderful son Scott now 2,5 years ago (and the Corona years passing by) I took a little sabbatical before starting up several new projects. Me and my husband set up our vintage watch store Héritage (www.heritage-antwerp.be) already 3 years ago, in the heart of Antwerp along the Botanic hotel. As well as our renovation company where we renovate and design interiors. I am most passionate about the midcentury modern style and houses from the '50's & 60's. This has been a long passion of mine and I love setting up all these new projects.

 

For years I have also been a very passionate vintage collector , whether it’s interior design, watches, jewellery , designer bags and clothes. There is an undefined feel you have wearing something special that you cannot just find everywhere or has been through some history already.

Next to that it’s a sustainable plus when you help to re-use already existing items that are out there . I sell  a specific range of items and I don’t just accept or sell any item. I find it very important to only sell items in a very good condition or that were never worn. Classy, elegant and sophisticated and made from beautiful materials to last for years again.
